Who we are

Textonia is a game made by two people. The person responsible for your data (the controller) is Cosmin Negoiță (Textonia). Contact: contact@textonia.com.

This website

textonia.com does not use cookies and does not track you. The fonts, images and sounds are served from our own site. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages; like any web server, GitHub receives technical data such as your IP address when you visit (see the GitHub Privacy Statement).

The email list

• What we collect: only the email address you type into the signup form, and the record of your signup and confirmation.
• Why: to email you when the Steam page goes live and when the demo is out. We send emails rarely and never sell, rent or share your address for anyone else's marketing.
• Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by signing up and then confirming the link we email you (double opt-in).
• Who processes it for us: the form and the emails are run by MailerLite, our email service, which stores the list on our behalf. The signup form loads a script from MailerLite, so MailerLite receives technical data such as your IP address when the form loads and when you sign up.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe. After that we stop emailing you and keep only the record that you unsubscribed, so it stays that way; you can ask us to delete that too.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@textonia.com. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

Changes

If this changes (for example when the game gets a Steam page or the site adds visit statistics), we update this page and the date above.
